Initial planning is already underway for the 45th Triennial Council of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, which will be held in Boston, August 2-4, 2018.
One of the most important responsibilities of the Council is the election of new members to ΦBK’s governing body, the Senate. In 2018 there will be seven open seats for Senator-at-Large, and the Council Nominating Committee would like your help in finding ΦBK members to fill those seats.
The Committee is eager to offer a robust slate of candidates for consideration. To reach that goal, when submitting a nomination, the Committee urges you to consider ΦBK members with a commitment to the Society’s ideals who reflect the rich breadth and diversity of our membership, including individuals from a variety of professions and callings, inside and outside academe.
