Nationwide Events to Welcome New Members

Building on the success of last year’s efforts, Phi Beta Kappa will again host Key Connections events in cities across the country this fall, September 6-9, to welcome new inductees. This year, look for engaging events like happy hours, networking panels, trivia nights, museum tours, and more in over 20 cities across the country.

Phi Beta Kappa membership is more than an academic honor, and Key Connections provides a great way for inductees to connect with other Phi Beta Kappa members in their areas, a great benefit for those who are new to a community or profession. More than 2,000 new members engaged with Key Connections last year with such positive feedback that the national office is once more partnering with our network of associations to make these events possible again this year.

“Key Connections is precisely in the spirit of our founding, and it meets a critical need for our members today to gather and to connect,” said Secretary and CEO Frederick M. Lawrence. “We’re delighted to continue to offer these opportunities to build Phi Beta Kappa’s ‘super alumni network.’”

Please mark your calendars now and check back with us at pbk.org/KeyConnections for the latest details on when and where events will be taking place. Also reach out to support@pbk.org to update your contact information and to receive details and a registration link for the event in your area.
