In March, Newsweek released its list of “150 Fearless Women” as part of its tribute to national Women’s History Month. Who makes the list? Politicians, heads of state, leaders in the corporate world, in the military, healthcare, law, the arts, athletics, women and girls from all walks of life and all parts of the globe who are inspiring others and making a difference.
“Whenever a woman or girl gains control of her destiny, the local standard of living goes up and the values of human rights spread,” Newsweek notes, in recognizing the contributions being made by those selected.
