Please join the Metropolitan Atlanta Alumni Association of Phi Beta Kappa from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, August 24, 2014, at Druid Hills Golf Club (740 Clifton Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30307) for a reception honoring the Phi Beta Kappa Book Award recipients from 47 Atlanta area high schools who are being recognized for their outstanding scholarship.
The reception provides an opportunity for the honored students to meet each other and our members, and to give members of the Atlanta Association the opportunity to greet and to congratulate students and their teachers.
Niall Slater, Emory University’s Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor of Latin and Greek, and former president of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, will be our speaker.
